  1. Take 1 cup whole wheat flour
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup jaggery
  3. Get Water to dissolve jaggery
  4. Prepare Ghee to pan fry roat
  5. Take 1/4 th tsp Cardamom powder
  6. Take 1/2 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)

  3. Now make a doughnut with hot jaggery mixture. The dough is like our normal chapati dough, little hard.
  4. Keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  5. After 1/2 an hour make equal portions of dough. Make small ball of each portion and roll to a thick puri.
  6. Like this roll all puris.
  7. Heat a tawa of griddle and roast each roat with ghee.
  8. Serve hot with a cup of tea.
