Turn crockpot on high and remove liner (if you can). Spread some BBQ sauce on the bottom of the crock. Return the crock to the pot, put on lid. After about an hour, turn down to low.

  1. Put sliced onions in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Preheat a large skillet to medium high heat with 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown the pork chops in the skillet on both sides. Coat each pork chop with BBQ sauce and layer in the crock pot.
  3. Cover crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours.

Return the crock to the pot, put on lid. After about an hour, turn down to low. If you used bone-in chops, be careful as the chops are very tender and will fall off the bone. I used enough BBQ sauce to COVER THE PORK CHOPS. I used boneless and they turned out great!
