  11. Take 1-2 leaves bay leaves
  12. Get 1-2 tablespoon garam masala
  13. Make ready 1/2 tablespoon Fennel seeds -
  14. Make ready 1/2 tablespoon Kalonji -
  15. Take 1 tablespoon turmeric
  16. Get to taste Sugar
  17. Make ready to taste Salt
Instructions to make Bengali recipe Kumror Chhokka (Pumpkin Masala Curry):
  1. Heat the oil in a pan and add little bit of mustard seeds and kalonji and fennel seeds to there and stir it's just few seconds.
  2. Add washed peeled and chopped pumpkin and chopped potato pieces (potato optional) and fry them incorporating the things in the heated cooking pan for few seconds.
  3. After preparing the pumpkin and potato incorporated items just keep them aside in an another bowl.
  4. Let's start to prepare your another cooking items masala curry by taking green chilli, red chilli, garlic, onions, and adding garam masala to there and make a better paste of the things.
  5. Heat the pan again and by pouring a little bit of cooking oil and pour the paste items by adding the bay leaves to stir it well for few seconds again.
  6. Add boiled chhole and pre - prepared pumpkin and potato pieces to the masala gravy and stir the whole thing by adding few amount of water and sugar, salt and turmeric to the taste to there and at least few seconds by covering it well.
  7. Just after few minutes open the lid of the pan and look at your Pumpkin masala curry or Kumror Chhokka is ready.
  8. Decorate the delicious item by garnishing to there chopped coriander leaves. Feel the smells and take the taste. Yummy
