Salted Beef is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions daily. Salted Beef is something that I’ve loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have salted beef using 12 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Salted Beef:
  1. Prepare Brine
  2. Take 4 drops red food color/ beet juice
  3. Take 3 tablespoons Chinese black vinegar
  4. Get 1/4 cup crushed black pepper corns
  5. Make ready 6 cups water divided
  6. Take 3 tablespoons canning salt
  7. Get 1 tablespoon curing salt, Prague powder
  8. Prepare 3 leaves bay leaf
  9. Make ready 3 teaspoon granulated onion powder
  10. Get 1-1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  11. Get Beef
  12. Prepare 1 pound beef loin
Steps to make Salted Beef:
  1. Trim the fat and remove all you can of the the silver skin membrane.
  2. Crush the pepper corns. Mix the salts in a cup of warm water, mix with vinegar and food coloring. Get the bay leaves.
  3. Mix with the rest of the water give it a stir. Put the beef loin in a ziploc bag. Now pour the brine into the bag. Fill a bowl with water. Submerge the bag in to the water allowing air to escape from the bag. Now seal it leaving just the beef and brine, and no air. Put into a bowl and set into the refrigerator for a week to 10 days.
