  9. Give all the ingredients a good whisk
  10. Now add the dry ingredients in batches and fold in using a spatula
  11. Once done, add the batter to a greased cake tin
  12. Tap a couple of times to level and release any air bubbles trapped in the batter
  13. Place the cake tin on the center rack of the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes
  14. Post baking, check by inserting a toothpick, if the cake is done
  15. Cool the cake completely, before demoulding it
