Instructions to make Beetroot Dhokla:
Grind boiled and grated beetroot in mixer to make puree. Add & mix salt, green chillies ginger paste to white dhokla batter. Add & mix beetroot puree.
Grease 7" round thali. Add & mix gently soda bi carb and oil in prepared beetroot dhokla batter. Pour in grease thali. Keep in dholka steam cooker. Cover and steam for 20-25 mins till done.
Cool for 5 mins. Cut into pieces. In small tadka pan add and heat oil. Do tempering of mustard and cumin seeds as they splutter add curry leaves and white sesame seeds. Pour this tempering on prepared beetroot dhokla. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve/ Relish Hot Nutritious Beetroot Dhokla with green coriander chutney and tomato sauce.
