  1. Prepare 3 cups rice
  2. Prepare 1 cup udad daal

  1. Wash udad daal and rice with water properly and soak them in water separately for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Grind them using mixer jar to a smooth paste. Combine it well. Now leave it for fermentation for again 6-8 hrs.
  3. After it gets fermented, add raagi flour and mix it properly.
  4. Add salt to taste, soda bi carbon and mix properly. Pour the batter in idli tray and steam it for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Unmould it. It's ready to serve. Serve it, with coconut chutney.
