Prepare small onions
Get Tomatoes
Make ready green chillies (chopped)
Get of mustard seeds
Prepare of cumin seeds
Get garlic cloves (smashed)

Take dry chilli
Take sambar masala
Get toor dal
Get rice
Get water
Prepare gingly oil
Take coriander leaves
Steps to make Dal rice with potato fry:
Wash dal and rice in water, soak it for min. 30 mins.
Take a cooker, pour gingly oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry chilli, smashed garlic, curry leaves, chopped green chillies…. Make a fry it…
Then add shallow onions in it, stir it well as onion colour changes.
Then add tomato in it. Stir untill the tomatoes becomes soft.
Then add 2 tbs of sambar masala in itt. Stir well as the raw smell goes.
Then add 5 cups of water. Drain the soaked water from dal and rice.
As the water boils, add the dal and rice. Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles.
After 4 whistles, turn off the stove and release the pressure out. Then open the cooker lid and sprinkle some coriander leaves in itt.
Then serve it hot with potato fries and lemon pickle 😋😋😋
