The ingredients needed to make Pav bhaji:
Make ready Butter 100 grm
Make ready Potato 2 big size boiled
Make ready Onion 2-3 big chopped medium size
Make ready Cauliflower 100 grm/ 1 bowl boiled
Prepare Green peas 1 cup boiled
Get Tomato 4 big size chopped
Get Capsicum 1 cup chopped
Get Green chilli 2 piece chopped
Take 3 tbsp Red kashmiri chilli powder
Take Pav bhaji masala 1 and a 1/2tbsp
Make ready 1 tsp Turmeric powder
Get 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Make ready 1 tsp fenugreek leaves
Make ready Garlic 12-15 piece chopped ya crush
Get 1 cup Water
Take Salt as per taste
Make ready Coriander leaves for garnish
Get 2 pinch Red food colour (optional) or beetroot powder
Prepare 1 Grated carrot (optional)
Steps to make Pav bhaji:
First boil potato,cauliflower and green peas for 20 min
After that chopped all the vegetables
Then heat the pan add butter then add cumin seed after crackle of cumin seed we add chopped garlic fry till light brown then add chopped onion fry until golden brown
Then add tomato, capsicum and green chillies then saute for 5 min then add red chili powder, turmeric and pav bhaji masala,fenugreek leaves then mix it well together add salt kept stirring the gravy till soft and pulpy
Then add all boiled item then mix it well mash it properly
With pav bhaji masher we have to mash the vegetables add water then cook for 8-10 min in meduim flame
Thicknesses depends upon u how much you want thick pav bhaji
When pav bhaji is ready garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and butter
Serve hot hot with toasted pav, bread and chopped onion with lemon juice
For extra colour in pav bhaji give tadka take a tawa or pan add butter when butter melt add 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder then add bhaji stir it and serve(optional)
