  6. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

  8. Get 1/2 tsp garam masala
  9. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  11. Take 1 tsp dry mango powder optional (depends on sourness of tomatoes)
  12. Get 1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
  13. Prepare to taste Salt accordingly
  14. Make ready Oil to fry and cook

  1. Deep fry potato and cauliflower till golden brown in hot oil.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan or kadai and add hing, cumin seeds green chillies and ginger. Cook for half a minute on high flame.
  3. Add turmeric, dry coriander powder and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Add tomato puree and cook it with all the spices left (masalas) till it leaves oil.
  5. Now add fried potato and cauliflower along with chopped tomato and coo it for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add a little water if sabzi looks dry.
